ABOUT THE ALFREDO G. PAULSON HOSPITAL
The Alfredo G. Paulson Hospital is a project of the Guayaquil Charity Board that is about to be inaugurated in August 2016. This project was born due to the increasing demand for gynecological-obstetric and neonatal care. Also known as the Women’s Hospital, it is located next to the Dr. Roberto Gilbert Elizalde Children’s Hospital. Together they make up the largest maternal and child hospital complex in Latin America.
This ambitious project occupies a construction area of 43,000 m2 with 16 medical specialties and 28 outpatient consulting rooms, 216 cribs in the different care areas, 337 adult beds, 18 operating rooms, 8 delivery rooms, 8 labor rooms, 4 healing rooms, 10 observation rooms, have high-tech medical equipment.
